With Ocal-Blue® double coat conduit bodies, you can connect sections of conduit with or without 90 deg bends and provide easy access for wire pulling, making splices in branch conductors and maintenance and future system changes. Conduit bodies can also serve as mounting outlets for wiring devices and lighting fixtures.

- The conduit body and cover are double coated with a nominal 0.002 in blue urethane on both the interior and exterior, before PVC coating is applied
- A minimum of 0.04 in PVC coating is bonded to the exterior
- Covers are coated with a molded flange to seal the conduit body while the conduit body is molded with a flat surface on its opening to seal with the cover
- Ocal® Pressure sealing sleeves on all threaded hubs
- Ocal® conduit bodies are shipped with a cover and encapsulated stainless steel screws
- Bodies are designed with a flat back, allowing more cubic inch capacity
- Provide openings for making splices and taps in conductors
- Connect conduit sections
- Provide taps for branch conduit runs
- Make 90 deg bends in conduit runs
- Provide for access to conductors for maintenance and future system changes
- The flat back also keeps the body more stable during installation, requiring fewer conduit straps
